Tommy Heim

...his own repair station, my father worked for several well known companies as a mechanic, and Chief Inspector. Working with dad after school and during the summers, he taught me the most important element about working on aircraft: “Check, Double Check and Re-Check your Double Check”.

In 1990, I went to work for Jet Service Enterprises after dad passed away. There, I worked on the bench, overhauling Starter Generators and other Electro-Mechanical accessories. Early 2000 brought a move into Sales, and by December, other developments led to leaving Jet Service and the forming of Meritt Aviation, Inc.

My hobbies include bad golf, Little League Baseball, and “cutting that grass for free”. I am passionate about loving my wife, raising our 6 kids, and giving.

I’ll eat about anything except: beets, boiled rhubarb, or meat off the bone. My favorite is steak and I can eat my weight in Sushi. I like Belvedere Vodka, Bud Light, and Crown.
